About Me
The Short Version:
Grew up the eldest daughter to an eldest daughter. I witnessed the birth of my youngest sibling when I was 7, inspiring a desire to be a birth worker.
Raised to be accepting of others with a strong sense of justice. Also a theatre kid.
Graduated university with a double major (Theatre + English). Married my college sweetheart, left the ‘Wack, and began a successful career in theatre and film.
Attended a handful of Birth Days for friends and family while working as one of Canada’s first professional Intimacy Directors/Intimacy Coordinators.
Welcomed our first child earthside in 2023 after struggling with Stage III-IV endometriosis and infertility. Went back to the ‘Wack to raise our family.
Followed my initial passion and attended Pacific Rim College’s Holistic Doula Program on Vancouver Island.
Now working as a perinatal doula within the Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland with a goal to expand my practice further into end-of-life family support and gender/transition support.
