Crisis
- If you are in crisis, please call the BC Mental Health Line at 310-6789, go to your local emergency department, or call 911.
Loss
- Hope for Women exists to come alongside women, teens, and families facing unexpected pregnancy or pregnancy loss.
- The BC Bereavement Helpline provides compassionate listening and referrals to community organizations that can help you cope with your feelings of grief and loss. If you simply need someone to talk to, please give us a call. For caregivers, professionals and volunteers we can provide you the most up to date information in regard to support services available in over 80 BC communities.
- Cooled bassinets that allow babies who are stillborn or “born sleeping” to spend more time with their families. A group of BC residents raised enough funds in 2015 to provide cuddle cots to BC hospitals: two in Abbotsford, one in Chilliwack, Langley, Surrey and New Westminster.Post-Partum Support SocietyPacific Post Partum Support Society is a small, non-profit charitable organization that has been providing mental health and emotional support to new parents and families since 1971. The program started as a grass roots initiative when a small group of mothers began meeting at the Vancouver Crisis Line office to share their experiences and support each other.
- Individual and couples counselling related to life transitions, with a particular focus on the journey to parenthood. Counselling support for loss and grief related to pregnancy/postpartum loss, parent loss, and relationship loss.
- Cost: $150 + GST for individual counselling, $165+ GST for couples counselling. Remote services offered. BC Wide. Website specifies that they offer support services for anyone struggling with concerns related to their or their partner's reproductive journey. Vancouver, BC.
- The Butterfly Support Network is a registered non-profit organisation that provides integrated support, resources, and community for all people who have experienced unimaginable loss during the journey to parenthood. They provide free online and in person support groups, as well as one-on-one counselling. To learn more, fill out the intake form on their website and/or contact them at the email provided. BC wide.
Abortion
- List of clinics across Canada that offer post-abortion care, including counselling in many locations.

Reiki
- Virtual reiki sessions for individual clients. May be beneficial for birth trauma, grief, loss, breech baby, trying to concieve, etc. Based in Chilliwack.
